Try Something New: How One Homeowner Helped Showcase the Joys of Life at Chapters
When Jill first moved to Chapters in Salisbury, she didn’t just find a beautiful home — she found a vibrant, welcoming community full of opportunities to get involved. As an active member of the Chapters Social Group, Jill has seen firsthand just how many activities, clubs, and events are on offer each week for homeowners. But she also recognised something else: not everyone knows just how much is going on.
So, together with Community Manager Jenny, Jill set out to change that.
The Idea...
A comprehensive A–Z guide of everything happening at Chapters — from art classes and book clubs to tai chi, theatre trips, and quizzes. The goal was simple: to inspire fellow homeowners to try just one more new thing. Whether that’s joining a supper club, coming along to karaoke night, or simply stopping by for coffee and a chat, there’s always something happening — and always someone to share it with.
“The booklet is really for everyone,” Jill says. “Whether you're the type to fill your calendar with classes and activities, or you prefer a quieter pace with the occasional social event, there’s something here for you. We wanted to show the breadth of what’s available — and maybe give people the little nudge they need to explore something new.”

The result is the Chapters Life A–Z — a joyful, homeowner-led celebration of community life, packed with over 50 regular activities and one-off events. It’s a brilliant reminder that retirement doesn’t have to mean slowing down. In fact, for many at Platinum Skies, it’s a time to start discovering passions they never knew they had.
What’s more, while this booklet was explicitly created for Chapters, it reflects the rich social life that exists across all Platinum Skies communities — each with its own dedicated Community Manager, and each shaped by the unique interests of the homeowners who live there.
