Inspired by the Paris Games, our homeowners have been embracing some ‘friendly competition’ in the Platinum Games!
Whether a keen competitor or an enthusiastic supporter, Platinum Skies communities have been demonstrating once more that they are all about living active and engaging lifestyles — and proving that age is but a number.
Homeowners attacked the track and field events with equal amounts of joyfulness, laughter, and steely determination!
Field Events
The traditional throwing events revealed homeowners’ focus and motivation, as they launched their javelins and shotputs as far as they could. The slightly less orthodox events of Corn Holes and the Egg & Spoon Race might not have made the official list of events in Paris, but they brought out the ‘eye of the tiger’ in our homeowners as they combined hand-eye coordination and core balance to bring home the victories.
Track Events
No athletic event would be complete without the relay team event, and Platinum Skies homeowners did not disappoint. With inflatable torches in hand, the teams battled it out on the track using their flat speed and agility to bring the batons home in style…
And the crowd went wild…
The spirited crowd of friends and neighbours lifted the competitors with their support and applause as they waved their flags. And what better way to celebrate a win (or commiserate a loss!) than with an afternoon of drinking bubbly with friends in the sunshine?
