Discovery Day FAQ

What happens at a Discovery Day?

You meet the team, tour the apartments and communal areas, and have the financial model explained in plain English. It is simply a chance to see the lifestyle first hand and ask questions.

How long does it last?

Most visits take around one to two hours, depending on how many homes you view and how many questions you have. You can leave earlier if you need to.

Do I need to bring anything?

No paperwork is needed. Many people bring a list of questions and, if family are joining, something to jot down figures so you can compare options later.

Can I bring family or a friend?

Yes. Adult children, relatives or a close friend are very welcome. They can join the tour, sit in on the discussion and ask their own questions.

Will there be any pressure to reserve?

No. The visit is purely informative. If you want to talk about next steps, the team can explain how reservations work, but you are not expected to decide on the day.

Is it accessible if I have mobility issues?

Yes. Most areas are step free and there is seating available. Let the team know in advance and they will plan a comfortable route and pace for you.

What to expect?

Here's a brief outline of what goes on during the day

10.30 - 11 am

Reserved parking. One of our friendly team will welcome you at the car park and offer any assistance and show you in to complimentary refreshments. You’ll be greeted by one of our Relationship Managers.
11.30 am

Join a short presentation by one of the team who will bring to life what living at Platinum Skies is all about. You’ll also hear from one or two of our homeowners who can tell you a little more about what living at Chapters is really like. Take the time to ask any questions.
12.00 pm

Enjoy a short stroll over to our bar & bistro and delight in a complimentary lunch.
1 pm

Take a full tour of Chapters including our landscaped gardens, our central courtyard, homeowners lounge, activity room and treatment room. Take in Constable Court, Finch House, Avon Villa and all of the surroundings.
1.30 pm

Your Relationship Manager will happily show you a selection of our available properties. Ask questions and soak it all in.
Afterwards

Feel free to enjoy additional refreshments, talk to the team or the current homeowners and leave at leisure.
